Brief History
Tarangire National Park, established in 1970, spans 2,850 km² in northern Tanzania. Managed by TANAPA, it’s named after the Tarangire River, a lifeline for wildlife during the dry season. The park is renowned for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, attracting safari enthusiasts year-round.
